A total of 31 projects led by UBC researchers were awarded a collective $5.8 million in funding through CFI’s JELF competition.
Dr. Hee Yeon Im, Dr. Zachary Pennington, Dr. Rosie Shrout, and Dr. Milan Valyear, assistant professors in UBC’s department of psychology, received funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s (CFI) John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF).
CFI’s funding strengthens Canada’s capacity to drive discovery, innovation and meaningful impact across a variety of fields. The JELF enables universities to attract and retain world-class research talent by providing the state-of-the-art infrastructure researchers need to succeed.
