UBC Chapter of Psi Chi

Gain recognition for your distinguished academic success in psychology at UBC through the UBC chapter of Psi Chi.

UBC’s Psi Chi chapter was established in 2011 by Dr. Michael Souza, a former faculty member in the department of psychology. Dr. Souza was compelled to create a UBC chapter out of a belief that achieving a high standard of academic excellence should be recognized and celebrated. Psi Chi, the International Honour Society in Psychology, was founded in 1929 to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship, and to advance the science of psychology. Psi Chi is the largest student psychological organization with over 700,000 members.
