Dr. Amori Mikami is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Mikami is a Canada Research Chair in Clinical Child Psychology and a registered clinical psychologist in British Columbia, Canada.

Research interests include ways in which a supportive classroom or home environment can help children to make friends, with a  special interest in designing and evaluating interventions that train teachers or parents in strategies to assist children with peer problems.

Dr. Mikami’s secondary research area is Developmental.
