About

Jade Radke (she/her) is a PhD Psychology student in the Behavioral Sustainability Lab at UBC. She received her BA in Honors Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Russ Powell and Miranda Macauley (MA, BCBA) and earned her Behavioral Interventions Certificate of Achievement (BICA) from MacEwan University. Between degrees, Jade worked as an assistant behavioral therapist at an elementary school. She then earned her MA in Resources, Environment, and Sustainability at UBC under the supervision of Dr. Jiaying Zhao with a focus on the role of happiness in climate action. Currently,  Jade is examining the effectiveness of various behavioral interventions for increasing climate action.


Research

Jade’s research focuses on the use of positive reinforcement to elicit pro-environmental behavior change.
