The Royal Society of Canada honoured nine UBC professors this month for their outstanding achievements and contributions to their fields.The new members will be celebrated and inducted into the Royal Society of Canada at a ceremony in Victoria in November. Elizabeth Dunn is at the forefront of research on the science of human happiness. Her work shows that small changes in the way individuals use their time and money can enhance their well-being. Dr. Dunn’s research has appeared in interdisciplinary journals such as Science and has been utilized by business leaders, philanthropy organizations, and policymakers around the world. She has published multiple journal articles and is the co-author of the successful book Happy Money: The Science of Happier Spending.
