UBC Psychology is pleased to announce that Dr. Stan Floresco, a professor in the department of psychology, has been awarded a Killam Teaching Prize, a top teaching prize at UBC.
This award reflects excellence in distinguished teaching at all levels of instruction. Prize winners are selected by an adjudicating committee chaired by the Faculty of Arts’ Associate Dean and they are approved by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic at UBC.
“Although it can be stressful, teaching is something I find rewarding, and I always try to have fun when I work. It’s the most wonderful feeling to receive such a recognition for having an impact on others while doing something you enjoy.”
