Our 51 faculty members and 115 full-time graduate students conduct cutting-edge research across the spectrum of psychology, representing these sub-disciplinary specializations: Behavioural Neuroscience, Clinical, Cognitive Science, Developmental, Health, Qualitative Methods and Social/Personality.

Research highlights:

  • Our interactive Living Lab at Vancouver’s Science World aims to make science fun for kids and parents, while improving our understanding of early child development.
  • A new Centre for Gambling Research at UBC has been established to advance our understanding of gambling psychology and help reduce problem gambling behaviours.
