About
Nathan Lewis is a postdoctoral research fellow in Christiane Hoppmann’s Health and Adult Development Lab. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, and PhD in Psychology with a focus on Lifespan Health and Development at the University of Victoria. His current research examines how a sense of purpose in life may support healthy ageing processes through engagement in health-promoting behaviours, better physiological regulation, and resilience to cognitive decline. Dr. Lewis is passionate about the use of coordinated data analysis and multivariate longitudinal designs to better capture within-person health dynamics. In his free time, Dr. Lewis enjoys hiking, cycling, and being an over-attentive pet parent to his cat and many houseplants.
