After graduating with her BA she remained at Queen’s and worked as a research coordinator for the Sexuality and Gender Laboratory, using thermography to explore the sexual responses of women with and without sexual difficulties.

Natalie is co-supervised by Drs. Lori Brotto and Alan Kingstone, and is a member of the UBC Sexual Health Lab and the Brain, Attention, and Reality (BAR) Lab. She is interested in the cognitive mechanisms underlying sexual attraction and desire, with a specific focus on asexuality and Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder.
