Leilani received an MA in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, and has worked as a behavioral coach in social skills classes for children, adolescents and young adults with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression and/or intellectual disabilities. At UBC she continues to study how autism and ADHD impact the way a person perceives and responds to the social world around them.

Research interests include social attention, social skills deficits, autism, ADHD.
