Since November 2023, Charlotte is a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Gambling Research (CGR) at UBC. Starting October 2024, she will be an MSCA postdoctoral fellow affiliated with the CGR at UBC and the University of Cologne in Germany.


Research

Charlotte is investigating the role of arousal perception and appraisal in gambling contexts using behavioral data as well as subjective and psychophysiological measures of arousal. During her PhD she worked on action control and behavioral adjustments after negative outcomes in gambling and non-gambling contexts. She is passionate about researching and facilitating the use of open science practices in the field of behavioral addictions.
