About

Carly is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program, supervised by Dr. Lynn Alden. Her research focuses on understanding the motivations for–and consequences of–Internet and social media use in anxious populations, particularly adults with social anxiety or obsessive-compulsive tendencies. In her clinical work, Carly has assessed and treated children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma backgrounds, and has special interests in obsessive-compulsive disorder and emerging adulthood.
