I’m thrilled to welcome our new and returning undergraduate students to campus as we kick off the 2024/25 academic year. The psychology department is here to support you every step of the way as you navigate your student journey. I encourage you to prioritize your well-being throughout your studies and get to know your fellow psychology students in class and beyond, including through our Psychology Students’ Association. Also, UBC Arts advising and our psychology advising team can connect you with the help you need.

On September 3, all students are invited to participate in Imagine UBC events and activities. Our student clubs are hosting a booth at the Main Event on Main Mall so be sure to stop by to learn more about programming, upcoming events, and how to get involved. Our department will be at the Arts Faculty Fair in the Buchanan Courtyard from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm. Be sure to stop by to ask any questions you have—and win some psychology prizes!
