There are two distinct routes by which candidates may be nominated for election to the Society:
- Candidates may be nominated by a Fellow , and the nomination shall be supported, in most cases, by two other nominators. Nominations by Fellow are submitted to the RSC independently of the VPRI Office.
- Candidates may also be nominated by Institutional Members. The Primary Nominator for an Institutional Member nomination shall be the President or CEO of the university or organization. The nomination must, in most cases, be supported by two other nominators, neither of whom need be a Fellow of the Society. Institutional Members may nominate a maximum of three candidates per year.
UBC’s Institutional Nominations are facilitated by the Faculty Awards Coordinator in the VPRI Office. Contact: brenda.carrier@ubc.ca
