Jovi – Pets of UBC Psych

Meet Jovi, a three-year-old Goldendoodle who brings endless joy to the life of his owner, Flora Li, a psychology undergraduate student at UBC. Known for his lovable and “swaggy” demeanor, Jovi is the definition of cool — but he’s also a big softie at heart.

One of Jovi’s most endearing quirks is his love for Snoopy. This fluffy pup can’t sleep without his trusty Snoopy toy by his side. Whether he’s snuggled up for a nap or just lounging around, Jovi’s Snoopy is never far from reach. His nickname “Sleepy Jo” comes from his calm, cozy nature, especially when he’s nestled up with his favourite stuffy.

Jovi also has a playful side that’s hard to resist. Flora recalls a funny moment when they were at the pet store and Jovi managed to sneak a small cat toy into his mouth. They nearly walked out of the store without paying for it—thankfully they caught him just in time!

A lovable and quirky companion, Jovi’s cute fun-loving personality and deep affection for his favourite toys make him an unforgettable part of Flora’s life.
