CIHR is committed to building research capacity and training the next generation of health researchers in Canada. As part of this commitment, each year the CIHR – Institute for Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR) recognizes leaders in the health services and policy research community. From trainees, through to senior investigators, we celebrate researchers who are making a difference in our field.
The CIHR-IHSPR Rising Star Award is dedicated to supporting graduate students and post-doctoral Fellows and to recognizing the research excellence and knowledge translation initiatives of these emerging health services and policy researchers at an early stage in their career. Up to three Rising Stars are awarded each year.
Value: $3,000 for approximately three grants
Funding per award: $1,000
