About

Dr. Joelle LeMoult is an Associate Professor in the clinical area. She is the Director of the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Laboratory, a Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar, and a registered clinical psychologist.

Through her research she works to further our understanding of the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of depression. Using an integrated approach, she examines the cognitive, emotional, and biological responses to stress that contribute to depressive symptoms.

Research interests include depression and psychobiological responses to stress; understanding how depression develops and unfolds across the lifespan; integrating cognitive, biological, and emotional measures to better elucidate the link between stress and depression.
