Visual Cognition Lab Technical Manager

The Visual Cognition Lab is looking for a new Tech Manager! Training can start as early as May with official transferring of duties in August. Training will happen on campus, during the weekends.
Basic skills for the next manager:
  1. Self-motivated
  2. Willingness to take initiative
  3. Ability to work independently
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Excellent problem solving skills
  6. Experienced with Mac OS X
  7. Basic understanding of network connections
  8. Working knowledge of any cloud storage services (ie. DropBox)
Responsibilities include:
  1. Provide support as a first point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues in a timely manner
  2. Provide technical support for software installation
  3. Troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software issues
  4. Assist in improving and maintaining performance and reliability of computers, network, and data storage
  5. Provide any hardware or software upgrades as you see necessary
  6. Maintaining/debugging the participants sign up system website
