Eric Eich Scholarship in Psychology
The Eric Eich Scholarship is awarded to: Ava Morris
This annual scholarship is made available by the Department of Psychology in honour of Dr. Eric Eich for outstanding Bachelor of Arts students in Psychology in their graduating year. Dr. Eich, a former Department Head of the UBC Department of Psychology, is a Distinguished University Scholar and Professor Emeritus.
Richard Tees Scholarship in Psychology
The Richard Tees Scholarship is awarded to: Stephanie Chow
This annual scholarship is made available by the Department of Psychology in honour of Dr. Richard Tees for outstanding Bachelor of Science students in Psychology in their graduating year. Dr. Tees is a former Department Head of the UBC Department of Psychology and Professor Emeritus.
Mary Whiton Calkins Undergraduate Award in Psychology
The Mary Calkins Undergraduate Award in Psychology is awarded to: Mina Leghari
This award is granted annually to an academically outstanding undergraduate student in psychology and philosophy while honouring Calkins’ remarkable achievements as a pioneer of psychology.
Jean Bolocan Memorial Prize
The Jean Bolocan Memorial Prize is awarded to: Zaina Alkurdi
A prize given by Mr. J. L. Bolocan in memory of his wife Jean is awarded to a student in the final year in the Faculty of Arts who is regarded by the Department of Psychology as the outstanding student in the graduating year.
Psyc 217 Research Poster Prizes
- The Best PSYC 217 Research Poster is awarded to: Donya Keshavarzi, Carmen Magic, Ziye Zhang. Tarin Oil Ahmed, Ling (Lynn) Zhang
This award is given to the group of PSYC 217 students with the best poster, as decided upon by the year’s 217 instructors.
