Exploring AI in the Classroom

The rapid rise of generative AI (GenAI) is transforming the way we teach and learn.

And many of us are still navigating what this shift means for our classrooms. Join Dr. Lily May and Dr. Simon Lolliot for an informal discussion on how AI is (not) being used in our classrooms. They’ll share ideas, tips, assessments, and approaches—and open up a dialogue about opportunities, challenges, and concerns.

We’re also excited to welcome Dr. Andrew Owen, Associate Dean Academic in UBC’s Faculty of Arts, who will share insights from his research on the use of AI in higher education.
