BSc Degree in Behavioural Neuroscience

Behavioural neuroscience is considered to be both a branch of psychology and a branch of neuroscience. Behavioural neuroscientists bring to their research a knowledge of behaviour and of the methods of behavioural research.

The BSc in Behavioural Neuroscience program is intended for students whose interest in psychology is in the biological basis of behaviour. The program covers a range of topics including advanced research methods in the behavioural sciences, sensation and perception, animal learning and cognition, hormones and behaviour, computers and psychology, and biopsychology.

The student with a major interest in the social, personality, developmental, clinical or general experimental areas of psychology should apply for the BA degree.
