The UBC Psychology Clinic at the University of British Columbia has an opening for a Clinic Director. The Clinic Director serves as the administrative director of the Psychology Clinic.
Position Description
The clinical program in the UBC Department of Psychology is CPA and APA- accredited and the Psychology Clinic serves as a teaching resource for this program. The Clinic Director manages psychological assessment and therapy services and supervises and teaches graduate students. The Clinic Director also identifies and coordinates community based practicum placements. The Director participates in program evaluation and development of the accredited clinical program.
Qualifications include a PhD in clinical psychology from a CPA or APA accredited program and registration (or eligible for registration) as a psychologist in BC. The Director should have experience in clinical supervision and administration and a demonstrated commitment to the scientific basis of clinical psychology.
